ABOUT US

HISTORY
God of Mercy Tabernacle of Hope was founded by Apostle Dr. Pauline McKnight in her Brooklyn, New York apartment through fervent prayer, obedience to the voice of God, and a deep desire to see souls healed and restored. The ministry began over 2 decades ago and has grown under the power of the Holy Ghost into a vibrant, multicultural Pentecostal church where deliverance, prophetic ministry, healing, and teaching are central.
What started as a small gathering has now expanded into multiple locations: one main sanctuary in New York and two active branches in Jamaica, including a recent plant in St. Catherine. Under Apostle McKnight’s apostolic leadership, the ministry continues to impact lives both locally and globally.
The church has also extended into Africa, where Apostle McKnight provides spiritual covering, mentorship, and prophetic equipping to pastors and ministries across the continent.
For over a decade, God of Mercy Tabernacle of Hope has remained committed to building people, strengthening families, equipping leaders, and advancing the Kingdom of God through prayer, outreach, and the Word.

VISION
Our vision is to be a global sanctuary of healing, hope, and mercy — restoring broken lives through the power of God and preparing souls for the return of Jesus Christ. We are committed to preaching the gospel without compromise, reaching the lost at all costs, and raising up intercessors, prophets, and apostolic voices for this generation. We endeavor to build what we call a spiritual hospital, where deliverance, inner healing, and salvation are not only taught but experienced. Our mission extends to empowering people to walk in their God-given purpose while offering both spiritual and practical support through counseling, community outreach, and charitable works. As the ministry grows, we continue to expand internationally, bringing hope to nations and serving as an apostolic base where lives are transformed and leaders are launched.
